Event Details:

People of all ages are invited to experience an interactive learning workshop that will cover over 500 years of history in one hour. The KAIROS Blanket exercise gives the participants an opportunity to take on the roles of Indigenous people in Canada. Standing on blankets that represent the land, they walk through pre-confederation, treaty making, residential schools, colonization and many other topics. This part of history has been hidden for too long. Join us if you are willing to learn the true history of Canada.
